The New York State Conservation Council’s Spring / Legislative Meeting for 2020 has been cancelled

May 14, 2020

It has been decided, due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 that the Spring / Legislative Meeting for the New York State Conservation Council, will be cancelled.  This decision has been further supported by the fact that our reservations at the Herkimer County Community College have been cancelled by the College.  This is a wise and cautionary decision, when you consider we draw a varied state wide group of people.

At this time, I feel that meeting together at a later date is unlikely just based on the calendar and the unknown of where COVID -19 is going.

BUT THIS DOES NOT alleviate us, the Council, you and me, from dealing with the normal issues that we are faced with at this time of year.  Through communication such as office memos, Constant Contact, our website, and social medial we have, what we need do the business for the Council.

Further messages will be coming out related to the work of the Council.  All that is needed is for is for all of us to be active, informed, and responsive.
